**** Deer Hunter Bolt Action Ballpoint **** This is a handmade Bolt Action Ballpoint Pen made by Placid Crafts. This pen is hand turned from a Walnut piece of wood like most gun stocks. The Hardware on this pen is Antique Pewter. The Bolt Action works as the ink to retract or advance the ink for writing. The pen is 5-3/8″ long. I would consider this a standard diameter. Pen #N29The standard Fisher “SPR Series” Refills were developed for NASA and have been used on EVERY Space Shuttle mission both American and Russian. They are hermetically sealed with a specially formulated thixotropic ink and pressurized to about 35 PSI. They are the only refills that will write at any angle because they do not rely on gravity. TO ADD OPTIONAL $3.50 INK COLOR AND POINTCHANGE OUT SERVICE TO YOUR ORDER:►INK COLOR AND POINT PREFERENCE: We get a lot of requests to change out the ink cartridge to suit the buyer’s personal preference for color. We will change out the black ink / medium point cartridge that are standard in most pens to a color and point refill cartridge of your choice for $3.50 per pen. These are made on a metal lathe form solid metal round stock blanks; these are made from Rebar, Aluminum, Brass, and Copper. These are drilled out to 3/8” and a brass tube glued in to mount the hardware to. The Rebar is lightly cleaned on a wire wheel and sprayed with a clear coat to protect the steel from rusting. The other metal pens are turned to the proper size and the sanded for a smooth surface. These pen bodies are not sealed or coated. They will patina as each type of metal will.
